More details are being finalised on the last day of Metrobus operation at Walsall on Saturday 28/11/09.

All six Metros should be out all day as long as none fail in the next nine days. 3 will be out all day on the 340/341 between Walsall & Willenhall.
3 will cover all journeys on the 305 route between Walsall and Yew Tree Estate.
When the first bus finishes on the 305 route this will be kept in Walsall town centre and not return to the garage. It will then do a extra journey on the X51 Express route Walsall to Birmingham and back duplicating the usual Gemini at 16.20pm and 1700 return from Birmingham.
It will then stay in Walsall again to run a duplicate to the 1810 journey on the 341 from Walsall bus Station.

The two Metrobuses running this journey will be the very last use of Walsall metrobuses.

It is hoped that the bus that does the X51 and very last bus from Walsall Bus Station on the 341 will be 2887 which has spent it's entire life of 24 years 4 months at Walsall garage.
